In my exam in magazine design our task was to create a magazine for a specific target audience. We got todefine our audience ourselves so as an above average adventures guy, I chooseto make a travelling magazine especially for backpackers.
Strategy & Concept
The name of the magazine is "Ukjent", which translates to unkown and/ or unfamiliar. The name of themagazine tells you something about the destination, the reader andthe state of the backpacker as he is arriving a new place. The mainfocus of the magazine is on photography. The layout is designed withthe pictures in mind and gives the reader the time and space to fullyenjoy them. I have also worked along with the composition of thepictures and adjusted the text by their lines.
